Dolce & Gabbana Junior F/W 2013 Campaign

It's been three months I haven't updated any posts. I did keep my eyes on the latest Children's wear trends and my passion towards kid's fashion has never changed. I've just been too busy with my life ( ok, it's an excuse I admit) so I promise I will keep refreshing this blog, I can't let those people who support and believe me down.

So here's the big come-back introduction of Dolce & Gabbana Junior Fall Winter 2013 Campaign.
I have a thing for D & G since the first day I met fashion. Their campaign photos are always so glamorous and catchy.

How sweet and warm this photo is, what could be happier than having a lovely family like this!
it kinda reminds me of the Beckham's family :P

The Adventures of Poppy and Fred

Encountered this lovely brand-Poppy when I was doing Childrenswear Store research in Hong Kong. Their very english vintagey fabric caught my attention right away and each outfit comes with a story book with allows kids to colour on.
Totally love the idea of combining kid's fashion with story telling. More than that, their illustration is very brilliant too.

They create exciting children's clothing, including girls' and women's dresses, including tights, petticoats, cardigans, hats and scarves - are perfect for special occasions, including parties and weddings.

If I have a little girl, I would dress her in one of these gorgeous dress and go picnic with her under such a lovely weather these days.  If you feel the same way, check out the Poppy online store: http://www.poppychildren.co.uk/

S/S 13 Boys Trend: Wonderlab

Struck by the fact that how much attention we place talking about girls' fashion rather than boys', we should not omit how fun and playful the boys' fashion is.

Here we go...what I got off from the latest WGSN report:

Laboratory-inspired 2013 summer trends for boys aged 3-8
explore the fun and creative world of WonderLab.
Mood:colour palette features turquoise, tomato and grass green as well as
bright shades of sports blue, green and yellow

Graphics: cool scientific motifs and symbols

Styling:
Lightweight, tightly woven poplin is a key fabric

Waterproof finished with a high shine appearance and bold colours
 gives a sportswear aesthetic

Engineered tee features scientific graphic or EIY cutout pockets

A loose-titting with turn-ups chino has a sporty laidback look

Basic jersey styles have surface interest in the form of mini bird's eye,
pique and bubble effects, often revealing contrasting
surfaces on the reverse for a structured finish
Bright piping adds contrast  to simple simple styles around the neck, hems and seams

Mesh is layered with jersey for T-shirts and outerwear, taking on a sporty, mechanical look
Bright, contrasting colours are added in geometric panels around the arms of tees and shirts
Collection
Very educational yet interesting trend
so let's get your kids into the exciting world of Science ;)
